How I wish my people will change their attitude of voting only the government in power at the centre since 1999. Well, the good side is that Igbos will lead Buharis campaign and support APC moment Buhari is sworn in.
Surprising? No! In 2003, Igbos rejected APGA presidential Candidate Ojukwu, they also rejected Dr Chuba Okadigbo who was running mate to Buhari and they voted Obasanjo a Yoruba man! 2007, the cycle repeated with Yaradua, they abandoned Ojukwu again, they abandoned Sen Ben Obi who was running mate to Atiku, they also abandoned Right Hon Edwin Umezuoke who was running mate to Buhari, They voted Yardadua, a hausa fulani man. In 2011, they voted Jonathan simply because he was in power! 2019 they will only vote APC,because we are now in power.

This is most likely the trend unless something dramatic happens prior to 2019 elections: possibly, if GMB would not consider a second tenure. This will most likely change the political equation. If not, then things will remain as they are; if GMB could win an election from opposition party, he WILL NOT lose as an incumbent. SO the wise thing is to fall-in.
