I Don't need to write long stories to convince you because logic is simple.
Even though love might be the most controversial experience on earth, some
part of it are germane and you know it.
unconditional love is that aspect of love Where your love for a person or thing
is not based on any conditions... whether rich or poor your love still remain
same.
I want to make this clear. the choice to love a person or thing might be based
on conditions, But once you have chosen to love that person, your love can be
unconditional.
a mother decides to love her child because it's her child. and when she does
love the child, she can choose to make it conditional or not. we've seen cases
Where mothers abandon their children.
Love can be unconditional But the choice of love maybe conditional.

I am a Catholic too but I can't remember the last time I attended mass. I have almost forgotten everything done in the Catholic Church. embarassed

Father forgive me for I have sinned. embarassed

you do not have to be hard on yourself. just keep doing the right thing and asking for forgiveness before you go to bed.

confession would only deter you from receiving the Holy Eucharist.

When you are ready to resume mass, you can then go.

I guess this is a counter thread to the other one on front page. In that case,OP I believe you are wrong in your analogy. If I may use the example you provided,a mother loving her child unconditionally, that' doesn't hold. The singular fact that the kid is hers is a major condition, and it takes away any "unconditionality" from the scene...

Go back and read that other thread. I believe the Op did a good job there..
