He is known widely in east Africa as the Martin Luther King of Africa. He has made a lot of motivating speeches about the African Mentality that draws Africa back from development and the corruption in Africa.

He was made the Director of Kenyan Anti Corruption Commission in September 2010 and due to his strong stand against corruption just like the Nihu Ribadu of Nigeria. He was Ousted as the President of Anti corruption Commision of Kenya in August 2011. He arrested some top corrupt politicians that resulted in his removal and he pointed out after that the corrupt politicians are so organized that they can do anything to steal the people money and protect themselves.
