Job Title: Sea Freight Forwarder

Location: Lagos and Ogun State

Job Type: Full Time

Preferred Field of Study: Business management, Marine management or logistics.

Required Experience: 1 – 3 year(s)

Job Description and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for sea freight operations (import and export) including all documentation preparation, tracking and tracing. Handling Sea freight import / export customer service & operations & co-ordinate efficiently with the shipping agency.

Job Requirements:
• Working within a small team, to handle Sea Freight Import and Export to a varied client
• Following up orders, shipments, delivery schedule, etc
• Negotiating rates and transport schedules, organizing export paperwork & documentation
• Flexible & keen to take on new tasks & responsibilities in the office
• Shipment tracking and tracing
• Solid knowledge and experience in documentation preparation
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft office applications
• Duties include data entry to our in house system, liaise with customer for shipment booking, liaise with transporter for shipment pick up and also liaise with airlines/shipping line for shipment booking.
