based on my own school experience (although I often had no money to buy food but I knew what was sold anyway), lunch menu consisted mostly of these:



Rice with Beans, fried plaintain, meat or fish

Asaro (yam pottage)

Vegetable stew (efo riro)

Regular stew

Moinmoin

Water to drink. Sometimes soda but rarely.


Cant remember if swallow like amala, pounded yam or eba was available.

Also, yogurt was sold after school, sometimes ice cream in little packets.

the other ice cream too, the frozen flavoured water one.

Chin chin, buns, meatpie, other small chops.
