And pls if your coming from Lagos, Okada is before Benin. So don't go to Benin first, just drop at Okada bus stop, then u will see cabs going to the camp. Cabs is 100naira, but since its camp tins they will increase it to 300/400.
The camp is also good in the sense that it not fenced, so u can sneak in and out if you like, but don't let them catch you o.
Lastly, to have a fulfilling camp experience, Join NCCF. Thanks

Try to catch your fun in camp, through contests, football, volleyball, karate, marching, parade, man o war drills, taking pictures, clubbing at mammy, making cool friends.. Etc etc. You could also be useful by joining OBS, quarter guards etc or being the platoon leader or parade commander...

The useful ones are favored during ppa posting MOST of the time but not all the time.

For example, i was part of Obs, got my hopes high that I was definitely gonna be posted to a nice place in benin, but due to some logistics, i found myself in one secondary school far away from benin.

But at the end you may realize that serving in benin city is not the best afterall.

I hope the State in general is okay. how easy or possible is it for one to get paid? what's the probability that I'll be posted to somewhere where I'll be paid? do most pay?

Edo is peaceful, and they are mostly friendly, maybe not in monetary terms.

Depending on your ppa, govt schools hardly pay, private schools pay but it might be irregular depending on the school, and its always a meager sum and they may like to overwork you.

But all the same, anywhere you find yourself, you would meet people that are already comfortable there, just try and make yourself at home. We are all up to the challenge!

You also find people that do nothing, just lazying about the whole service year, traveling and flexing their allowee, these are mostly people posted to public schools that don't pay.
