She looked at the plate of eba in front of her and sighed heavily. The eba had gone cold from neglect and the vegetable soup beside it had lost its appeal. Even the diced meat, shredded fish and ponmo in the soup looked unappealing to her. She sighed again as she took the plate out to the kitchen; she would leave it there and hoped someone would eat the food before her mother came back. She did not want to interrogated again about why she rarely ate and talked to people anymore. The last "interview session" she had with her mom had not gone so well. There had been a lot of shouting, crying and she felt really bad seeing her mother in that state but it was better to keep her battles to herself and hope God would hear her prayers and shower her with mercy and solution. The thought about God made her sigh even more heavily. She was not even sure God paid attention to hwr anymore.
