GOD IS NOT A SPARE TYRE
SCRIPTURE: Exodus 8:15
“But when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and would not listen to Moses and Aaron, just as the LORD had said.”
Praise Jesus!
Pharaoh sobered and begged Moses to intercede for him whenever there was a fresh misfortune (Plague) and the bible records that, the moment the plague was gone; Pharaoh will assume his arrogant, sinful posture again. Little did he know the deadliest of plagues were yet to be made manifest by the Lord which culminated in his eventual death.
Many of us today are worst than pharaoh of the bible. When we are encountering tribulations, hardship and challenges, we cling onto the Lord morning, noon, night and dawn. The moment we begin to feel relief, we coil back to our old sinful shells. God cannot be mocked (Galatians 6:7). Stop using Jesus as your spare-tyre or an emergency refuge. Jesus is not NADMO, HE is GOD. Jesus is not your fire extinguisher, He is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12:29). Don’t serve him only in times of trouble, but even when things are smooth for you. I can assure you, that the scariest tests are ahead; don’t wait till those times. "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak" (Matthew 26:41). God bless you!!!

What you wrote is true, thats what happen when in luke 17:11-19 when jesus healed 10 men and only one person came back to appreciate him which is bad, we cannot take him for granted because his mercy and compassion is abundant in us.
