![]() According to reports, Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka has said that Igbos in Nigeria vote with their stomachs. Soyinka reportedly made the comment on April 29, 2015, while giving a lecture at the Harvard University Hutchins Centre for African & African American Research, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA. According to online news platform, The Cable, Soyinka also accused Igbos of being incurably money minded. Nigerians have responded to the comments via Twitter.
