not only shoes...Something like this happened years back and killed the whole family. They boiled water with a kettle forgetting to rinse it. they used the water to prepare eba. 4people died from eating this eba. their was scorpion inside the kettle.

That is likely not true. Venoms are harmful when injected in the blood stream, not when injested after cooking. Don't you know you can cook any animal including scorpions and snakes, and eat them, and be safe? That story is believed to be a boax.
