Many people do not reveal their earnings (salary or wages) to their family. Some don't talk about it while others lie (underrate) about it.
There are many reasons why people do this. To avoid too much dependence and expectation, for security reasons, stinginess, to maintain peace at home etc.

So Nairalanders, do your family members know how much you earn? If not, why are you hiding it?
