I have been wondering for a long time if I am doing anything bad by trying to apply for a Nigerian passport online as requested by the institution, I spoke with some immigration officers on what it will cost to obtain one and the prices has been put at 25k. I even went to the Immigration office but it did not change a thing. Some days ago, I tried to follow the application online and also make payment online. I stopped when I reached the following attached page. I was scared to continue the payment and I therefore called another immigration officer who told me to forget the online application, that it will not go well with me if I continue with it. I therefore want to know what is going on? Is it a must that one have to pay money to the immigration officers now turned touts for a quick job?
