Stephen Keshi's first test in his current stint ends in 2-0 victory against Chad. A couple of friendlies should be lined up for this team before the end of the summer. That will give Keshi an opportunity to work on deficiencies and better enhance personnel allocation. Not everybody that plays midfield should be a midfielder - a poor midfielder who shows enough commitment and imagination can be converted to a defender - I am not mentioning any names. Rabiu needs someone to pair with him in the midfield -the end goal (no pun intended) is two folds: 1. You want good passes to get to the forwards so they can put the ball in the net. 2. And you want someone who can safely pass the ball to the defense and or protect them from opposition attack. Mikel (or John Ogu) remains the most experienced personnel for this task. Until players like Idowu, Azeez, Mathew Ifeanyi etc. come of age and show consistency Mikel remains an almost inevitable choice. Our on and off the ball formations should be recognizable in every single game - that's one way of knowing if the team is making technical progress. Teams like Kenya, Congo and even Ethiopia have caused problems for us because of our sometimes disjointed off the ball formation. Whenever, we had problems with these teams it was almost always because whenever we lost the ball there was enough space (due to poor positioning) for fast players to cause damage.

Keshi's decision to bring in Ighalo is wonderful and his continued faith in Salami is commendable - these two are a good addition to the team. However, Nigeria still needs a prominent goal poacher - someone who has the knack to be in the right place at the right time and put the ball in the net. In the 94 team, Yekini was the indisputable king of goals but we must not forget that in addition to Yekini players like Amuneke and Finidi George served as goal poachers scoring the occasional vital goal here and there whenever there was too much defensive attention on Yekini. I think between Salami and Aaron Samuel we can find someone who can carry that responsibility.

Now to the question of our point man. Emenike, Ighalo, Moses Simon, Isaac Success, Awoniyi, Iheanacho etc. I think Keshi should really consider bringing in Moses Simon, Isaac Success, Iheanacho (as soon as he starts playing club football) and Awoniyi (as soon as he starts playing club football). Isaac and Simon should be called upon for the next friendly - Isaac has the physical strength and ability to make a contribution to the Super Eagles. I will like to see an Isaac Success, Ighalo and Moses Simon 3 forward attack line up in one of these friendlies - just to get a feel of how they (Success and Simon) will comport themselves and play together with a more established forward (Ighalo).

I was under the impression that the stadium in Kaduna was larger than that - I thought it had been updated with increased capacity and a good artificial turf. Now I'm reading that it's a natural surface and a small capacity and the game wasn't even sold out.

What exactly did they do to the stadium that they deemed it worthy to play there?

Strange choice to play in Kaduna. Why don't they play in Lagos?

Sports betting have been tagged by most people as being highly risky to get involved but it is not so when you know how to stake and tend not to be greedy; in fact the gain is far more higher than the risk involved. What i am about to share is for those who are willing to stake high and double or triple their money fast. Most people involved in sports betting want to accumulate 10 to 30 games on one slip and play with #100, now their reason for accumulating such amount of games is because they want the money to increase but the chance of winning the money is very very low. Here is how i double or even triple my money with less risk; in sports betting there are so many options but the safest and easiest is playing "OVER 1.5" What this means is that in a particular football match there must be two goals and above and we all know that it is very easy to score two goals in football.
Now the odd attached to this is between 1.20 to 1.30, now if you are to accumulate 4 or 5(preferably 4) matches with this kind of odd the total odd will be from 2.0 to 3 and you place a bet of #10,000 in a space of two hours you will be having extra #10,000 or #20,000 as your profit from the game. it is very easy and simple, you don't need to bother yourself about who wins the match all you know is that they must score two goals and you will get fast cash. This method is beneficial to only those who are willing to stake highly not by betting with #100.
Now you can register with 1960bet; as they offer high odds for staking

Cech’s move to Arsenal is almost a done deal with many expecting an official confirmation any moment from now.

Arsenal will pay Cech 100,000 pounds per week and he will be the number 1 goalkeeper at Arsenal.

Ospina will be on his way out after Copa America as he doesn’t want to be the number 2 goalkeeper at the Emirates.

Chelsea made a big sacrifice selling Cech to a huge rival in need of a worLd class goalkeeper and winner in the dressing room. This sacrifice may hunt Chelsea because Cech will provide all the needed clues to Wenger whenever Arsenal face Chelsea in any competition. To keep updated about this mega transfer story visit www.080football.com .
