Edinburgh International West Africa are a Nigerian company that builds on strength and experience to deliver practical security support solutions across the high growth areas of West Africa. Responsibilities: • Patrol industrial and commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates. • Answer alarms and investigate disturbances. • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. • Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons. • Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property. Qualifications and Requirements: • Minimum of SSCE/GCE • 3 years working experience as a security officer, police or military officer • Must have good communication and interpersonal skills • Must be physical and medically fit. • Must be an excellent observer • Candidate must be fluent in speaking English. • Must have reasonable experience as a security operative. Former military/police experience would be an added advantage. • Must not have any criminal record and must be trust worthy • Must be willing to provide strong referees.
