the OP's just looking for attention, if you know Ikom very well, that fence is very close to shopping centre in Obudu road, i have stopped at that bar beside the fence for refreshment on several occasions when travelling from Calabar to Obudu.

To be honest i feel like its recklessness on the part of the residents they wil be the ones who fall sick if any disease breaks out because on this.

Why cant people come up together and looks for a more hazard-free way of desposing of their refuse?
Yes the govt may not be doing its job but this is no way to live.

All is well

Judging by the way you composed your comment, its obvious that you're part of the problem we have in this country. I don't expect someone with your composition skills to be able to comprehend what I wrote.

Its way beyond your IQ level

Ikom is a town in Cross River State. It's about 4 hours drive from Calabar.

Don't get it twisted.

Well, even Calabar has become very dirty of late. The state government have abandoned the city to fate.

IKOM IS NOT IN CALABAR.
Just like how Aba is not in Umuahia, Ore is not in Akure, Ijebu-Ode is nt in Abeokuta.
Except if u are telling us that Calabar is a state.

Btw every Town/State in Nigeria has such places. Go to so many neighbourhoods in Lagos, Ijebu-Ode, Aba, Onitsha u'll c places like that.
Keep quiet and go and clean your village lkom.

I blame the moderator that put this on the frontpage without verifying. An to think that seun pays them is disturbing. I think he should aask for change because obviously they are not doing a good job. This is the second misleading post I know moved to the frontpage today.

Re: Photos: See The Current State Of The Streets Of Calabar. by Nobody: 8:28pm On May 21, 2015
Is it a spirit that constantly dumps refuse there? Is it not the same people crying wolf The earlier we started realising that the *government is nobody but a word, the better for us.
Is it the so called government that forced them there?
Charity they say, begins at home.

Ikom is a town in Cross River State not in Calabar.
Calabar is the state capital, those debris can't be found there.

That's Ikom L.G.A, a town very far from Calabar. Calabar as a city actually had such horrific pictures late last month and early this month, but was eventually evacuated by the necessary authority.
