Off course something good can come out of Africa in the media light. It only takes our joint effort in portraying Africa as good. Note the phrase JOINT EFFORT.
we can't move forward if we continue to put our tribe first and not our nationality, that's a huge set back for any developing country. Eg u can't see any American who will say 'I'm from the southern part of America nah..that's bullshit.

Let's us in full force continue to celebrate our good sides rather than dwell more on the negative sides. The world will give us credit for that

If the west can write negative things abt africans why cant u (press) write negative things abt them too. Sometime the best way to defend is to attack, i remember vividly well that in 2015 UEFA was asking CAF to prospone the tournament becos of ebola bt CAF respond back that UEFA refuse to prospone EUROPEAN cup in ukrain becos of the political unrest. There is nothing like absorbing insult in order to aviod stepping on toes

Sahara Reporters is the worse of the pack. Being a propaganda outfit for the opposition it has never reported anything good about Nigeria in the last 5yrs. In fact it has rubbished any good report some foreign media or international organizations may have concerning the nation just to spite the government in power. It is therefore outright hypocrisy for it to publish this article after villifying Nigeria's military, its institutions, its respected world class citizens and its effort to chat a new course in development, democracy and defeat terrorism. Maybe Sahara Reporters have problems with geography.
