PRESS RELEASE BY THE CHAIRMAN HOUSE COMMITTEE ON MEDIA AND PUBLICITY (SRC), Hon. Freedom Chimereze.

This is to inform the University community and the entire members of the Students' Union Government, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, that the sitting President of this Union, Comr. Noble Eyisi who was suspended indefinitely on the 18th of May 2015 by the SRC has been IMPEACHED by over 2/3rd majority votes of the Students' Representative Council (SRC) members in her sitting held on the 22nd of May 2015.

The President was IMPEACHED for gross misconduct, incompetency and of unsound mind, embezzlement of Union fund,impersonation of the Speaker and elected executive Officers.

The Officer in question is hereby mandated to submit all the properties of the Union Government in his possession within the next seven (7) days as stipulated by the Constitution.

The Vice President, Comr. Ozems Precious Amarachi, henceforth assumes office as the Acting President of this Union Government.

It will only take d grace of God for him to graduate or collect his certificate immediately.

Because the outlet of siphoning money was blocked by the poor boy, he was sent packing.
Corruption even at the center of academic excellence is like building a mansion in the Pacific. It'll never stand because there's no foundation. May God protect His people
