Ever since Microsoft announced the unification of its Operating System, industry analysts have been following the developments actively, one major place where Microsoft will try to get gains is the mobile market, where it has failed on several occasion to make an impact.

Early reviews from users of Windows 10 technical preview on PC have indicated that the new OS will change a lot of things. Microsoft have completely rebuilt Windows 10, there are a legion of new features that should get any tech savvy guy really hyped.

In the last few months, Microsoft has released some exciting information that would make any Windows fan become proud again. The Project Astoria which was announced a few weeks ago will radically eliminate the so-called “lack of apps” on Windows Store. What Project Astoria does, is to allow developers who have their apps already in Google Play and App Store easily port same apps over to Windows Store.

Last year, Microsoft didn’t release any flagship. It was an easy ride for Apple and Samsung. The software giant was primarily focused on building Windows 10, ensuring it works seamlessly across several devices. The hotly anticipated OS is near completion with a summer release date imminent.

No matter how hard they try to emulate android, they can't be like android... Ask BlackBerry and Nokia!

You mean how hard Android has been trying to emulate iOS?

Eitherway, your kind of arrogance is what Motorola displayed when Nokia took over in 1999, Nokia display that same arrogance in 2011 and iOS made Symbian obsolete. Android came from no where, with the help of Samsung and started dominating. It's just 2015, don't think Android will remain top forever.

There are several challenges.

1. Microsoft is coming with a Tsunami attack on Android. 20 mobile vendors have already agreed to pre-load Microsoft Office, Skype and other products on their next smartphones.

2. Samsung Tizen Z1, a new smartphone using Samsung's Tizen OS. The smartphone is selling like hot cakes in some select Asian markets. Once Samsung can have a break-through with Tizen, they will dump Android for good. Remember Samsung accounts for 76% of Android market share globally.

3. Developers are getting frustrated. Despite Android being more popular, they make more profits on iOS than on Android. How many premium Android apps have you bought? Most iOS users are comfortable with premium apps, because anything Apple is considered gold.

4. Windows powers billions of PC globally. Windows users are aware of the massive changes that's coming with Windows 10, the fact that the software giant have been able to unify the OS across all devices is a major break-through.

5. Project Astoria is the fatality. The argument that Windows Store has no apps will be eliminated. Apps on iOS and Android can be ported to Windows Stores without loosing sweat. The bad news for Google is that the apps won't be using Google services like maps, but Microsoft's. So Microsoft is able to get additional revenue to keep the Store fresh.

And you forgot the most important.. Android is GOOGLE.. and as long as Google is Android, then Android is google.. Never understimate the over estimated.
