Just wrote this piece on yaba left and the concept of madness. Plagiarists.... I use God beg you. Stare clear of this post in the name of Jesus, Allah, Jehovah, Ayilala, Sango or whatever it is you believe in.

YABA LEFT

That place in space
Not space like cosmic space
But space like Lagos space
A space Lagos tagged home of the mad
The mad
Those that have transposed into some different space of understanding of the universe
Because we cannot understand them we say mad
Mad cause it’s hard
Hard to fathom from this breaking pad that sanity should rests on.
That Styrofoam that should pad the mind from the heavy rain called trouble and torment that we face day by day That always tries to splinter the mind in form of mad
Leaving cry and sad in its wake as it abandons it’s charge to care for the mind. It’s the fault of the world it says.
Harsh it says.
The Devil’s home it says.
But I contrapute.

Yaba left, left the turn to bad.
The opposite of right.
We think we’re right because we can’t understand those on the left.
To God, who is mad and who is unmad?
Who stands right or stands left in his charge?
Close your eyes. You’ll realise that the mad could be the new man.
He does not conform to what you call civility. He is mad and he, he embraces his left.
What is left of the society of those who are civil, standing right.  Violence, hatred, is this not mad?
Yaba left, It’s just a space
Do not laugh at it.
Do not shirk from the mad.
In the most obscure of phenomenon lies the gatepath to uncharted understanding.
I stand by it. What if the mad is not mad and we are mad for saying he is mad. Madness may truly be the imargency exit to true sanity.
Judge for yourself if this makes sense.
After all, its the ramblings of a mad man presently standing on the left of YABA LEFT.
