From this news and the ones before, something is very clear; GEJ never had the intention of ruling this country. Ladies and gentlemen, I think I've just cracked the reason for his lackluster and abysmal regime.

In history, most of the leaders that performed never got to the position by mistake. They've planned it all their lives. They've aspired to be a leader since they were young. That way, they've trained themselves and picked up leadership skills that will aid them in governing their subjects.

GEJ was never such leader. He was simply an opportunist. This is evidenced in some of his actions and utterances and his stead in handling some sensitive situations.


Now, there is nothing wrong in being an opportunist, but when the lives of thousand of people get wasted because of your inefficiency, it becomes a crime. He could have compensated for his lack of leadership skills by surrounding himself with competent people, but no, he preferred sycophants that will sing his praises to high heaven shielding him from the plight of the people. He allowed criminals to hijack his governance. He appointed goats to guard against our collective yam.

He might have had good intentions for this country, he was just never equipped for the number one position and the state of our economy at the moment has exposed him for what he really is; an incompetent leader.
