GTs advice a brethren ó. I applied to a major Nigerian IT company to be a small fish in a big pond. However a subsidiary of this company is offering to make me a big fish in a bathtub. The catch is that I will use experience from my current job (a backroom role) to improve their operations while working in a client facing role. Pay and responsibility not commensurate. In the big pond I'm gonna learn and be tutored. In the bathtub I'm gonna tutor folks. I'm a shy person (despite my loquacious nature here) and will feel very uncomfortable facing clients although this is not something I cannot surmount. Given this scenario what would u candidly advice? The big pond have not made an offer but the bathtub has
My brother, a living dog is better than a dead lion. Go for what you have now...
1. No experience is ever a waste.
2. At least you will meet new people and make new friends (and enemy too, maybe cheesy) Relationship and connection can bring limitless opportunities in the future.
3. Taking the bathtub job might also hasten the big pond people to come get you.

Just dont sign a bond that will restrict your movement, since you have the big pond in mind such that you can change when you wish.

Ultimately, there is a way that seems right...
God knows best.

I think you should find out if there is any "Release Clause" and the "Cost" in case you find another "Club" interested in your signature. You can then consider whether its worth it to pay the release cause vis-a-vis whatever the new "Club" is offering if the Rapture turns out positive for you.

And I dunno the level of your faith. But asking God for direction is the ULTIMATE option at such juncture.
"There is a way that seemeth right, but the end...."

I wish you well!
