Bro, any update on your status yet? Have you done anything about it?

I seem to be stuck in the same scenario, I got my BIL on Thursday and decided to enrol on Monday which was a public holiday for them. I’d have shifted it if I knew better. Since then, the same issue. What worries me is the “Your action is required” makes it seem like they’re waiting on us for biometrics.

And since this biometric thing is a bit new, there’s no previous cases and solution online. Someone on canadavisa has raised a CSE, but they’re yet to respond, I’ll probably have to do the same by next week.


Fam, Please anyone that knows a way round this issue should help.

Mine is not the case at all oo...
My biometric information, that is enrollment date and expiry was updated almost immediately after the capture too.

But that was all since then.
The Application step for Biometrics still remains what it was even before capturing.

Any advice on what I should do?

My biometric information, that is enrollment date and expiry was updated less than 1 hour after capture. It also changed to Completed against the biometric entry. When I logged back in, the action required I was seeing before biometrics was captured changed to submitted.

Still awaiting response from guys in the house.

I did the capturing at VFS since 19th sept. (A bit more than 2 weeks now) yet the Biometrics status remained as "We need your fingerprints to process your application. Check your messages below for details"

My passport was submitted (at VFS) for a visa (takes like 15 days), same evening I got home and received the IV for Biometrics. I was thinking of going there with some evidence of the passport submission and other means of ID (NIMC, Drivers licence) with the invite. Just wanna know if I will be attended to.

Mission Accomplished!!! Was able to do the Biometrics all the same.

Here is how it went:

Made some inquiries by calling VSF customer care.
Sent them a mail and they replied...

Well, the simple question I ask myself is that if I was successful why didn't I get an email like other successful applicants? The answer is simple, it is because I was not successful. Rationalizing why one has not gotten a success mail yet is tempting, very tempting. But the fact is, if you did not get a success mail, then you were not successful.

I think real fact is that;...
If you have not received any male, It could be either successful or not...

In my little experience people are always kept on waiting list at this crucial stage. "Not everyone passes medicals", though not many fail also.
Some can as well reject the offer for whatever reason known to them. These are some reasons why some might have to wait.

The truth is that the number of people that passed is more than the available slots.

Not receiving any mail yet mean more than just to say you are not successful.

#CheerUp! Its not over till you receive "not successful" male.

If u guys get sense make una go find something do and leave NLNG wit their phantom 10 years Recruitment or else ur mates will be thinking of collecting their pension and u'll still be here doing recruitment.

Hehehehe; JUICY is very relative.
Am quite sure those that were good enough to still be in this process are more than qualified for most "juicy" jobs in this country and beyond. Anyone who is still an hopeful here without a juicy job at the moment, will just be by chance, not because they no "get sense".
I think it is quite harsh to come here and say people don't have sense. If you have openings for juicy jobs, you can as well share.

Am proud to be on the waiting list, am comfortable with my current juicy job, in a top multinational organisation (One of the biggest across the globe), working hard to reach the peak of my career and looking for more juicy jobs like many other hopefuls.
