@ahonohai

The car is a Great car.the vin report does not do justice to it,why say i am derailing a thread when i made a note of something??if you read my first reply,after i confirmed the vin, then you wont try to enagage me,
Re: 2005 Honda Accord ( Hybrid Hybrid Hybrid Hybrid Hybrid ) by Nobody: 3:57pm On Feb 17, 2009
May I implore everyone to be respectful and polite in posting in this Auto section. Let us try not to derail this thread as that action will be unfair to the dealer and potential customers alike.

@cashmoni, when you notice what may appear to be an omission of critical information on a thread such as this, please try to contact the dealer through email and let him/her know of your concern. If you don't receieve a private response and appropriate entry on the posting, then confront the dealer politely on the thread. That action should result to amicable conflict resolution.

@Busy-body, may I suggest respectfully that you minimize your use of inciteful statements like the ones you posted above. Such statements do not bode well for peace and progress in this Auto section. Name calling and personal attacks could result to counter attacks and derailing of the thread.

Term Section Location Definition
Junk Title and ProblemCheck The vehicle’s parts have been salvaged for reuse and the remainder of the vehicle has been destroyed or scrapped. This vehicle has been declared a total loss, is not road worthy and should not be titled again for use on the road.
Salvage Title and ProblemCheck A salvage vehicle is a vehicle that has been wrecked or damaged beyond repair; declared a total loss by the insurer; or declared a total loss by reason of theft. When an insurance company as a result of a total loss settlement acquires a vehicle, the insurance company must apply for a Salvage Certificate. If the owner retains possession of a salvage vehicle, the owner must obtain a Salvage Certificate before receiving a total loss statement from the insurance company.
Loan/Lien Vehicle Use and EventCheck A loan/lien is the legal right to take and hold or sell the vehicle of a debtor as security or payment for a debt. Normally, a vehicle will have a lien due to a loan or unpaid repair bill against the vehicle.
Accident Data Vehicle Use and EventCheck Accidents are reported by state agencies, police departments and other sources and varies from state to state. It is recommended to have pre-owned vehicles inspected by a third party prior to purchase.
Storm Area Registration/Title Vehicle Use and EventCheck Storm registration/title refers to information reported to us that a vehicle was registered or titled prior to the storm event in FEMA designated storm damaged area. Storm events can include hurricanes, floods and other natural disasters. While a vehicle may have been reported as titled or registered in an affected area, it may not have been damaged by the storm, or it may have been moved to safety during the storm. We recommend a thorough professional inspection of the vehicle to confirm no storm damage.
Emission/Safety Inspection Vehicle Use and EventCheck An approved emission testing station has inspected the vehicle to measure the amount of pollutants the vehicle emits into the environment.

I am grateful for your comments,what do i stand to gain if i lie??nothing,so make i just yarn the koko.I believe that cars that have been accidented and duly repaired in the states and are certified are good for to sell,but then the price at which they go matters alot, some people still want to sell them at the same market price which is wrong,

@Middleman

@BusyBody

Thanks.I wont be drawn into a shouting match with you,if thats what you looking for,my section was called accidented car section cause i sell accidented cars at a lesser rate.some dealers get accidented cars and still sell at the same market value.I did not compare my cars with anyone,and i did not say i was better than any one, as you chosen to call me names when i never opened my mouth to insult you i say thanks.if you notice something wrong with any of my threads please dont hesiate to say it openly that is what this forum is for.but i guess there is nothing wrong with my threads as i always say the facts as i see it, it is not a competition so even if my car had a lower score rating,  so what?my 3reports you posted whats wrong with them,please go thru them very well please,i dont seem to understand what you see wrong in them,how was your day,hope not as stressful as mine,, thanks

@monitor_1

i thank you for you intellectual judgement,when i checked the vin on autocheck,i made a comment on the report straight to inspired, i have not derailed the thread by making that comment,cause i did not condemn the car, i use autocheck to cross check a vin,and it gave me a not too good report,i make a note of it to inspired,is that wrongsome one said it was just an impact,if it was that it could have been mentioned in the report right?

@inspired

Please have i derailed your thread??if i have then accept my sincere apologies.

if my comments are wrong then why are we all looking for VINS on every thread??we can as well as post our cars and let the vin report be read by only interested buyers,

@busybody

so you agree that any car that pass all the necessary tests,is very okay to be sold, right?

As long as airbags werent deployed,

As at the time you put up your first post on this thread, Inspired_men had not put up a price, so your argument/submission is MOOT. He posted the VIN to show he had nothing to hide, yet you went further accusing him of choosing Carfax and ignoring the report, and asking him what he was going to do about your Autocheck report undecided . . . Quit trying to save face, you were wrong, fullstop. And far be it for me to be the one to point out what is wrong with the cars you have up for sale cool

The only thing that brought me to the auto section on NL, was to let whoever wants to sell salvage cars be allowed to, once it has been fixed and certified safe to go back on the road. You can check my posts if you don't believe me, I have never had any problem with salvaged cars being put up for sale, so don't worry about me cool

If I were you, I'd be more worried how what Ziontrain and his we-love-salvaged-cars-we-really-do and his cohorts, would have to say about your 2003 Honda - which was deemed to be scrapped and junked, and that the vehicle’s parts could only be salvaged for reuse whilst the remainder of the vehicle has to been destroyed or scrapped because it is not roadworthy and should not be titled again for use on the road - is now back in one piece

But then again, knowing them and their consistent ways of speaking with both sides of their mouth, I bet they would love you for it and encourage you to carry go lipsrsealed

You know what i have noticed and find interesting,whenever there is a praise to inspired,gestapo doesnt show up,but whenever some one makes a point out,from nowhere this guys show up,

Inspired has been in this auto biz for a long time now and i am sure he will agree with me on that,and i am also sure you all will agree with me on this that inspired is one of the most respected dealers on NL,and also you will agree with me on this that He is also one of the leaders in bringing quality cars out and also a pacesetter,

You all agree with me on the above points abiMy next line will need a lot of Understanding to be understood grin

All his cars he has shown this year has been perfect,and when i commented on this it was not to derail the thread,but to share a sad feeling that a nice car as that was given not so a good report from my autocheck, There are  2 auto dealers i respect on NL due to the quality of their cars and it was this 2 dealers that spurred my interest in cars,INSPIRED AND CARSHOPPER,to me i think they bring in the best cars on nairaland and if any of them should bring in a car with not a good record ,i will express my feelings openly without bias, cause this 2 dealers are PACESETTERS,
