I have always opined that the parliament and Judiciary is the biggest cog to our wheel of development.

The question is what have they been doing all these while and how many people are left in the chambers.

These arms of the government are shrouded in corruption and will never make or interprete good laws to get us on the path of development.

The judiciary is the last hope of the common man BUT the first hope of the corrupt rich.

The national assembly may be divided along party lines now but watch how they go under one umbrella when its time to share money.

GMB has sooooo much to do that i pity him.

There is virtually nothing he can or should do about the legislature or judiciary. Its not his turf. He should allow them evolve naturally. If there are unpalatable issues it is up to the electorate to address them and we have enough tools to do that if we want to. We are just too lazy and docile. Everyone wants Buhari to do everything even at the expense of their liberty. Believe you me, you don't want him interfering in those institutions. If you want to change something just go do it yourself.

Truth be told, Buhari can not do nada about the legislators. If he interfers on the salary or pay package, they will frustrate his policies that will pass through them. National assembly is one party when its about money. GMB risks impeachment if he tinckers with them.

For GMB to fight corruption, he needs a special court that will treat such cases specially. which again will have to go through the parliament. our present judicial set up is a sham headed to nowhere.
