put smile on 600 million Africans.
The talented R& B singer will be supplying
600 million solar power to Africa. He made
this known late may .
Akon Lighting Africa initiative will kicked off
with the launch of solar academy in open
this summer in Bamako, the capital of Mali.
The academy will teach engineers how to
install and maintain solar panels and “micro-
grids,” small electrical grids that provide
power to a very limited region.
