Hello all,

I have been stopped twice in the last 3 weeks by the Police, demanding for Tinted glass permit which I do not have. I suffered delays and eventual settlement followed in each case before I was let go.

The SUV came with factory fitted tinted glass and I have been driving it for almost 4 years with no permit and the Police nerver asked for it in previous occasions that I have been stopped for a check.

Is there a new law making this permit compulsory or is this one of the high handedness of the Nigerian Police?

Should this be compulsory, kindly provide the process of getting a genuine permit if you do know.
