When SE supported GEJ (a non-SE), it was with the hope that he will win
We know that in Nigeria the winner takes all and the loser gives all
This is the first time that the loser gets to keep something big: VP of the senate
So in this sad loss for PDP, only SE benefitted
How did they pull that through? There was no expectation that any SE man/woman would ever be anything politically tangible this next 4 years and SEners were braced for that realization.
VP of senate is bigger than the SGF who can be fired by the president any time.
The VP senate is elected and can only be fired by a majority of his senator colleagues, not even by the senate P alone.

Kudos to the SE for bouncing back so soon in the midst of hopelessness. If the Daura President gives a SEner the SGF position, that would just be another free icing on the cake for a people who never voted for him, nor expected anything of him.
Hey we are all one Nigeria, after all. Nothing dey happen grin grin grin grin grin
