It seems we need to adopt an official African lingua franca. It was a bit shameful to see the various leaders making their speeches in French, English, Portuguese etc. When does that stop?

Well... There's nothing we can do about it.

I see nothing shameful.

Your comment is in English, is that shameful?

Btw, we have more than 1,000 languages in Africa. Which one are you going to adopt?

There are things beyond our control because it was shaped by the past. There is nothing no one can do about it.

Henceforth Buhari should speak only Hausa internationally.

Do you realise the AU has continental political unification as one of its objectives? All it takes is a vote and we'll get a lingua franca along with that... So Africans are not buying your claim that there's "nothing we can do about it".

Don't mind the clown. Everything is imperialism to him and his co-travelers.

Stop all these, it won't take u anywhere. It's unfortunate what colonisation had done to Africa and it's no shame speaking European languages. US the most powerful country in the world speaks a European language. There nothing American in the American english..ask the Red Indians. Canada, South America are all speaking foreign languages. South East Asia are inclined to this also.

I dare say that ur religion isn't African. Were the case, won't you consider urself the hypocrite. Sorry don't mean insult. I like u cos u do make sense mostly. Just think there are things more important to worry about.
