I am presently downloading the season 5 finale... so I am steadfastly avoiding the TV show thread.  So far though, season 5 was satisfying. Of course, as book reader I more or less knew what to expect, so I wasn't as disappointed as the average show watcher. Yes, not as spell-binding as season 1, or exciting as seasons 2 and 3, but season 5 certainly has its pointers - House Lannister is finally broken, the Dornish are stirring, Tyrion has joined forces with the last Targaryen, Dany has finally mounted the dragon, and Winter has finally arrived. Will come back when I've watched the finale. 2 Likes |
