How? Jonathan beat them in 2011.

It was the SW betrayal that gave the north clout.

While the northern cabal promoted and exploited the terrorist acts of their Boko Haram, you in the SW continued to circulate their lies.

We warned you but you did not listen.

Your ITK and "nah we sabi pass" mentality is what is causing your humiliation.

This same Buhari was supported by the likes of Awo when he overthrew Shagari only for Buhari to target your politicians, Press and Plebs in his bias anti-corruption and anti-indiscipline war.

Oh plss stop spreading shits around. You are busy saying 'I told you so'. When u don't even know the real stuff conspiring among the politicians.

What is in COS that will make him most powerful. A man that controlled one of the largest resources in Nigeria and yet cannot be a man of his own turf will now occupy COS that has no relevance nor resources to be most powerful. That's laughable.

Pretty cheap honorary degree wouldn't you say? - the write up sure has the spirit of a nollywood saga but how close to reality it really is remains to be seen.

D same Saraki dat presumably called his boy boy VP a common comissioner. They even locks his VP out of every security meeting. Tinubu is now learning dat when a snake and a fulani invade ur house, u 1st kill d fulani before the snake.

You ve to give them credit, Their solidarity when it comes to grabbing political opportunities is unparalleled in Nigeria nay Africa. That Fulani's are presidents of over 7 nations in Africa isn't a coincidence.

7 presidents with nothing to show for it. Those seven countries including Nigeria are some of the porest in the world.

The writer has not rlly mentioned wat happened to tinubu, his political calculations n pride. Firstly tinubu shot himself in d leg by backing a northerner against a northerner its jst like 2 brothers frm d same mum fighting n u an outsider trying to back one @ d expense of d other wat do u tink will happen when they settle their differences, they'll turn their aggression on d outsider n dat is wat d north has jst shown tinubu. NE n NC are fighting for d same seat y cnt tinubu face d speakership seat whc was zoned to d SW bt he wanted to show himself beyond d SW n now he's seen d result. Secondly tinubu was too proud to d extent dat he forgot d saying dat a single tree doesn't mke a forest, being d ntnl leader of a party doesn't automatically make all party members ur bois bt pride won't allow him see, he decided to attribute d success of d party to himself alone witout taking into consideration wat others had to sacrifice before d success was attained and so d fulanis decided to show him a drop of water doesn't mke an ocean, in politics u win some n lose some bt tinubu wanted to tke all. Buhari dat stayed away frm supporting any candidate knew wat he was doing because it was clearly an internal struggle within d same fulani fmly n backing one of dem will make him lose his home structure bt a yoruba wanted to show he's capable beyond his home structure and now he has been taught a lesson he won't forget on tym

this is unavoidable when you have people of different personal interests in a party. funny enough they are men who don't give up there dreams and aspirations. When you have a Buhari, a Tinubu, a Saraki, and not to forget Atiku and Amaechi and the likes under one party definitely there will be frictions of interest and and this is what is playing out. The drama dey sweet pass PDP own self. But Yoruba are generally known for their self acclaimed betray . *****ALL EYES ON THE MINISTERIAL LIST**** that will determine the real losers

the apprioprate thing is to admit the shameful fact that you yorubas are always a pawn in their chess instead of seeking solace in a stupid generalisation. It happened to afonja, awolowo, abiola and now tinubu. I've never seen them playing on igbo. They cant reason like Igbos much more decieving them

Dude calm down - your obsession with throwing insults at the Yorubas is quite pathetic. At the end of the day all we have is grown men fighting over who is gonna be given the opportunity to loot the most money by getting the lush post. And if the Igbos are so smart how come GEJ couldn't form, after all these years, a credible coalition with the SW to win a second term? His inability to make substantial connection with the SW political structure indicates an abysmal lack of imagination by him. And if you say GEJ is not really Igbo then how come the Igbos have not even smelt Vice Presidency not to talk of Presidency since days of Zik? If you have any brains at all you were realize how very complicated the Nigerian political terrain really is - condensing it to the 3 major tribes is childish at best. You can start your education by looking at the structure of the PDP and the APC - the two major parties- and try to appreciate the complication that arises from the interplay of cross-tribal interests that run through both of them. Then again, maybe am asking you to rise above the fate of your limited intellect and imagination. Or maybe, you tribal bigotry obstructs your ability to grasp such matter - we shall see.

Spot on! U just made my day... These people don't know what they've brought upon us. We're already in a reverse mode and it might take up to decades before we recover from it(unless something divine or extraordinary happens)

I wept when Jonathan lost the election because I understood the implication of such a disaster. The Fulani oligarchy/hegemony is back and they're not going to let go anytime soon.

It's just the return of the Borgia's. Most of the youth that voted for this presidency are ignorant of the past. It is only good that they need a remindal of what it used to be.

Omenka, are you on leave? Make a comment please. undecided

Fantastic article! Finally, someone with an in depth analysis of the Chess game of Nigerian politics.
The problem with some people is they look but don't see. It is perplexing to the mind how someone as intelligent as Asiwaju failed to learn from history.
These Fulanis will always betray a southerner whenever Power is involved (Awolowo, Abiola et al). This scenario will always play it self over and over again with the same result. Such as shame! someone once said the greatest lesson of history is that people fail to learn from history.

This is may just signal the beginning of the end of Tinubu, when these northern Oligarchs fight, they fight to finish- as in Destroy i.e Abiola. Mark my word they are also going to come after him financially and may problem jail him as well.

The unfortunate people out of all this are the common Nigerian who have been hoodwinked into believing the CHANGE mantra.. I tell you nothing of that sort is going to happen. Fulanis don't govern, they rule! Simple.

Next time when we tell people not to trust these northerners, all those dumb Nigerian youths would understand that Hausa aren't faithful. Now Tinubu has been Royally forked, watch how these Fulanis rule.

When you give a meat to a dog, it's not very easy to take it back. Getting power back to who ever in 2019 from the Borgia's will be the most difficult thing ever that this country will have to experience. The only reason power ever left the North was because it wasn't through the pools. They are wiser now and such can't happen again besides the man (Obasanjo) who orchestrated it had to do everything within the human and spirit world to return it back to them. I pity this country.

I SAID THIS BEFORE THAT YORUBA PEOPLE SHOULD CHANNEL THEIR ENERGY TO
HELPING OSINBANJO & TINUBU INSTEAD OF INSULTING IGBO PEOPLE.

THE NORTH OF NIGERIA WANT TO UNDERMINE OSIBANJO THE WAY THEY DEALT WITH GOODLUCK
THEY WANT POWER FOR THEMSELVES.

SAMBO WAS NOT TREATED LIKE THIS.
EVEN UNDER THE MOST INSULTED PRESIDENT, SAMBO WAS RESPECTED.

ATIKU WAS SURELY NOT LIKE THIS, ATIKU WAS POWERFUL.

OSIBANJO WAS USED TO WIN THE SOUTH WEST VOTE.

AFTER HE DELIVERED HE HAS BEEN OVERLOOKED, BARRED FROM SECURITY MEETINGS.

ATIKU ATTENDED SECURITY MEETINGS.

BEFORE THE ELECTION HE WAS THE DARLING OF GMB

AFTER THE ELECTION HE HAS BEEN DISCARDED

LOOK AT NIGERIA'S VP SITTING LIKE AN OUTSIDER.

THE WEST OF NIGERIA YOU HAVE BEEN TAKEN FOR A RIDE.

GMB PLOTTED TO MAKE SURE THAT THE WEST DID NOT GET SENATE PRESIDENT OR SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE.
NOW ALL THE JUICY POSITIONS ARE IN THE NORTH. (SARAKI IS FULANI)

HOW CAN THEY CALL A MEETING AND ONLY THOSE WHO WERE TO VIE FOR POSTS STAYED BEHIND?

HOW COME GMB DID NOT SHOW UP FOR MEETING.

THINK GUYS THINK!!!

WAKE UP SOUTH WEST OF NIGERIA

YOU HANDED NIGERIA TO GMB AND YOU ARE BEING CUT OUT!

CHANNEL THE ENERGY YOU USE TO BASH AND INSULT THE IGBOS TO DEFEND OSIBANJO & TINUBU.
