If you're so busy at work that you don't time to visit the gym regularly or if it's because of the kids or just life in General, You need to learn simple exercises you can do at work... Through thorough research and personal experience, i have put together top 7 simple exercises you do at work. With these simple exercises practiced daily, you won't have the need to visit the gym!!

7 simple exercises to do at work:

1. Instead of using a desk chair, sit on a large exercise ball:

The balance required for sitting on the ball is a great core stabilizer. You’ll be toning and strengthening your ab muscles without even realizing you’re doing it. It takes very little to no concentration, which can leave your brain power for your work.

2.Flex your abdominal muscles:

Move the edge of your seat and lean back on the backrest. Then lift your legs straightened a few centimeters above the ground and climb back a few centimeters of the backrest. Feel work your abdominal muscles and hold for ten seconds. Eight sets of ten seconds each can strengthen your core considerably when done regularly.

3. Ankle Rotations:

Rotate your ankles in both directions for five seconds. Do five sets of eight repetitions in each direction. This exercise can strengthen the flexibility of your ankles and make you less likely to suffer sprains.

4. Leave the elevator behind and take the stairs:

Even if you’re on the 14th floor, walk up two to three flights and then catch the elevator the rest of the way. Doing just this one thing alone gets your heart pumping, and releases endorphins. It provides a great start to the day which both your body and brain will thank you.

5. Change your Parking Spot:

You may not think that your parking spot has anything to do with your fitness level, but parking further away can actually provide a mini cardio-session. Make sure to leave extra time so you aren't late, and park in the furthest parking spot you can find. Strap on those ankle weights and either walk, run, or march up to the building. Don’t worry about how you will look doing it because the body you’ll gain from it will look and make you feel even better.

6. Stretch Your arms:

Just because you're sitting at your desk does not mean your arms can do anything they want. Many arm exercises can be done while sitting at your desk. Stretch the muscles of your right arm to get as left as you can with your right hand while supporting on the inside of the left elbow and then hold it there. Feel the stretch for five seconds. Do eight repetitions before switching to your left arm.

7. The Press Technique:

For a steel back, tighten your buttocks and hold for ten seconds. Do five sets of eight repetitions. The beauty of this exercise is that your supervisors and co-workers will not see any movement and will not even know that you are secretly exercising at work.

Finding time to work out and keeping fit can be challenging, but implementing just a few simple things throughout your work day can really make a difference.
