A Group, known as Open Democracy Network (ODN) has called on Federal Government to sack, the chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Lamorde, over his action on former Governor Timipre Sylva of Bayelsa State. The leadership of the Group, Mahmood Mahmood, who called on President Muhammadu Buhari to sack Lamorde, also called on Buhari to replace him to create a more vibrant EFCC devoid of persecution of people. Spokesman of the group, Mahmood Mahmood, said EFCC was engaging in a frivolous litigation against Sylva to the embarrassment of the country and its legal system.
