even the complete engine with gearbox is 170k, get your facts before u postin.

let me clarify sumtin the gear one engages and accelerates fine, but does not switch to gear 2 d normal way like d other gears it jumps, dat just it, i guess seahorse atf caused dat, but hav changed it to mobil atf, i traveled frm jos to ebonyi with it, it can travel anywer

If you think the gearbox is that cheap, buy a new gearbox of 70k, like you said,then I'll pay for the ride, including the cost of the New gearbox of 70k. On a second note, once you have changed the atf, kiss the gearbox goodbye. Technically even if you drain the atf from the gearbox, residual old atf in the torque converter will continue to do further damage on the gearbox. Thus a new gearbox is needed.
