To my dear humble comrade.
A true Niger-Deltan.
A humble and enviable Nigerian.
I am writing this to you to plea on
behalf of Nigeria. It's just less
than a month now that you handled over the office of Nigeria
President to General Buhari. You
celebrated the handing over and
parked your belongings out of Aso
Rock villa in the happiness and
fanfare of those who promised us change. We didn't give you the
kind of attention you deserved,
instead we were carried away by
some elements that told us that
there are, better way out.
Unknown to very many of us that every attacks they fashioned on
you was their cheap ploy to
ascend to power to the highest
seat of the country.
I want to employ my low voice but
with my head high high as a Nigerian of a Niger-Delta
extraction that the handwritings
on the wall now proved that all
attacks on you were baseless and
political. Those who said you were
clueless are now complaining that you didn't. Brief them on how they
can for their government. They
told us that you can't fight Boko
Haram with your approach and
governmental statements by
employing the co-operation of neighbouring countries, now they
are using all the diplomatic/
presidential weapons available for
them to seek for co-operations
even from the camp of the known
enemies. They told us that there are much
money in the country but you
mismanaged it, but now they are
struggling to pay salaries. They
told us that the firstlady couldn't
speak good English, but we were taken back to West Germany few
days ago when modern world
were or are already in Germany.
They told us that you traveled a
lot with no or little time to attend
to the needs of the country, but now Nigeria taxing the tune of
billions has been spent on trips on
visits to countries for nothing
while they are yet to appoint
cabinets.
