SECRETARY (Ref.: SEC/LOS/0120/06)


Applicants must be graduates or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar position preferably in the service industry. Candidates should possess high proficiency in oral, written and e-business communication, with adequate skills in file management and independent routine office administration.

SENIOR SALES EXECUTIVE /SENIOR CORPORATE SALES EXECUTIVE/ SALES EXECUTIVE (Ref.: SSE/LOS/0121/06)


Applicants must have degrees in Marketing/Sales, with at least 5 years work experience for the Senior Sales Executive position and 3 years for Sales Executive position in the airline or related industry with a good track record of sales/corporate sales achievements and strategic planning.

Applicants should have a basic understanding of IATA standard reservation & ticketing procedures with excellent business/ corporate correspondence and communication skills in English language. Exposure to AMADEUS system, knowledge airline marketing and proficiency in PC based applications are essential requirements of the job.

SENIOR SALES SUPPORT AGENT (Ref: SSSA/LOS/0124/06)


Candidates must hold a Degree in Economics / Accountancy / Statistics / Marketing or equivalent, with at least 5 years of work experience in the airline industry.

Applicants must have advanced knowledge of passenger pricing / fares procedures and must possess excellent knowledge of proration methodologies. Must possess a high proficiency in PC-based applications and have a strong background in Airline Marketing (product research/business development, statistical analysis, Tariffs and Fare construction). Must have good analytical and interpersonal skills.

RESERVATIONS OFFICER (Ref.:RO/LOS/0125/06)


The selected candidate will lead and motivate staff as the intermediary with the Management to work as a team to facilitate passengers, assisting Travel Agents with their requirements and maintaining a high level of customer care thus increasing passenger revenue.

Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years supervisory work experience in telephone sales, reservations and ticketing within the airline industry/travel industry and sound knowledge of IATA standard reservation & ticketing procedures, as well as excellent communication skills in spoken/ written English. AIRPORT SERVICES MANAGER (Ref.: ASM/LOS/0130/06)


The successful candidate will be responsible for directing all areas of jurisdiction in the airport in order to ensure an efficient, safe, on time operation maintaining the QR customer service philosophy – “Taking you more personally”.

Applicant must be a customer advocate, maintaining a high level of customer service delivery by all station personnel while leading the local QR airport team in conjunction with various vendors to meet departmental and corporate goals and objectives. Develop and mentor employees to their fullest potential, maximize operational performance, regulate the changes in operational conditions and pro-actively solving problems, including but not limited to on-time performance, efficiency of check-in and gate operations, develop all functions of station activity within budget constraints and with a strong emphasis on customer service /safety are essential requirements of the job.

Applicant must possess a minimum of 10 years airline or ground handling experience, of which 5 years are in an operational management position with a reputed aviation company. The position requires physical involvement in the operation and therefore a strong operational background including excellent interpersonal skills are required.

AIRPORT SERVICES DUTY OFFICER (Ref.: ASDO/LOS/0131/06)


The selected candidate will be responsible for supervision, direction and monitoring of personnel to ensure our customers are provided with consistent QR service according to the company philosophy – “Taking you more personally”. The incumbent will be responsible to ensure staff complies with established rules and regulations, plan/coordinate operational activities, communicating with other station’s personnel, departments and vendors as required, responsible to ensure the safety and security of customers, colleagues and company assets at all times, ensure quality service and performance standards are maintained as per company goals and objectives while maintaining station records and other administrative support as required by the Airport Services Manager.

Applicants must be graduates with a minimum of 4 years airline or ground handling work experience with a minimum of 2 years being spent in a supervisory position. Excellent personnel development skills including team building, hands on approach to the daily operation, and excellent communication skills in spoken/ written English, with proficiency on advanced computer applications are essential requirements of the job.

SENIOR AIRPORT SERVICES AGENT (Ref.: SASA/LOS/0132/06)


Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years airline work experience in customer services or passenger handling at the check-in counters and arrival & departure area. A strong knowledge and working experience of DCS with proficiency in computer applications are essential requirements of the job. Applicants must have a pleasing personality with excellent communications skills in spoken/ written English, good interpersonal skills and willing to work in shifts.

FINANCE MANAGER (Ref.: FM/LOS/0134/06)


Applicant must be a Graduate in Accounting, preferably a professionally qualified accountant, with a minimum of 10 years of work experience and at least 5 years in a similar capacity in an airline industry. The applicant must be well trained in any ERP system, preferably Oracle financials and must have strong exposure to airline expenditure and revenue accounting as well as local taxes, fund repatriation, laws and regulations. The applicant will be responsible to meet target dates set by Head Office and ensure that financial policies and internal accounting procedures are adhered.

Applicants must be at least Commerce graduates or equivalent with 3 years work experience for Finance Assistant in an Airline or a travel agency. Strong knowledge of BSP, good business correspondence skills, and as well as excellent communication skills in spoken/ written English are essential requirements of the job. CARGO SALES EXECUTIVE (Ref.: CSE/LOS/0136/06)


The successful candidate will generate maximum cargo sales to meet or exceed the set revenue/tonnage target for stations while providing customer service through liaising with the General Sales Agents, and with Cargo Department - Head Office. The job titleholder will be responsible for assisting/monitoring the local GSA as they strive to expand the sales in the region.

Applicants must be high school graduates or preferably degree graduates, with minimum of 5 years of work experience in airfreight/airline industry, out of which 3 years in sales area and must have solid background of IATA/TACT regulations and its impact on sales.

Training in Cargo Sales & Marketing, Basic Rating, DGR, Cargo Reservations, proficiency in computer applications and strong negotiation skills with good communication skills in spoken/written English are essential requirements of the job.

SENIOR CARGO OPERATIONS AGENT (Ref: SCOA/LOS/0137/06)


The successful candidate will ensure efficiency in the movement of cargo through the station, maximize space utilization on QR aircraft, maintain high quality & service standards by supervising the GHA activities at the ramp, and perform station activities for Qatar Airways Cargo. The incumbent will provide operational support to ensure the smooth flow of cargo to and from the local station, which may involve, but not limited to monitoring, placing of bookings and liaising with Cargo Department – Head Office.

Applicants must be high school graduates with 5 years of work experience in airfreight /airline industry, out of which 2 years in airport handling with good knowledge of IATA/TACT regulations and basic understanding of airport operations.

Training in Product Awareness, Cargo Reservations, Lost & Found Cargo, Basic Cargo and Ramp Handling, DGR & Live Animal Regulations, proficiency in computer applications and good communication skills in spoken/written English are essential requirements of the job.
