Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri has said it plans to return to the evergrowing smartphone market in 2016, you would recall that a part of Nokia was sold to Microsoft in 2014 .




The remaining part of Nokia that was not acquired by Microsoft wants to stage a comeback.





Nokia says it will not produce the phones itself but will partner with third parties and provide them with the design of the
phone, which they will then manufacture and sell.




For a while Nokia has denied reports that it was going to start making phones again which may be partly due to the sale agreements with Microsoft which prevents it. from manufacturing or putting its brand name on any phone until the end of 2016.




Although it partnered with Foxconn last year to produce the N1 Tablet, which runs Android OS.




Nokia CEO Rajeev Suri said that his company will license, design phones and make their brand name available under license.
