Applications are invited for the following positions

1. Senior Computer Engineer

The Job
Reporting to the Network Services Manager, the Senior Computer Engineer will:



Perform installation, upgrade and maintenance of hardware and software for clients.
Troubleshoot and maintain client applications (Both Wireless and Dialup).
Carry out repairs and testing of computer equipment and peripherals.
Determine how to meet new requirements of the organization.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor


The Person
The appointee must:


Possess a B.Eng in Computer Engineering or any related Sciences.
Possess at least 2 years post-qualification experience working in a similar organization.
Be experienced in Windows, Linux, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN.
Must be able to analyze and interpret information.
Must be able to work under a tight schedule.
Must have a charming personality in addition to technical expertise,
Be physically fit to lift objects.


2. Computer Engineer

The Job
Reporting to the Senior Engineer, Computer Engineer will:



Assist the Senior Engineer in the discharge of his duties.
Perform installation, upgrade and maintenance of hardware and software for clients.
Troubleshoot and maintain client applications (Both Wireless and Dialup).
Carry out repairs and testing of computer equipment and peripherals.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor


The Person
The appointee must:


Possess a B.Eng in Computer Engineering or any related Sciences.

3. Workshop Engineer
The job
Reporting to the Engineer, The Workshop Engineer will:



Assist the engineer in carrying out his duties.
Troubleshoot Clients systems (Both Wireless and Dial-up).
Check the battery bank for status.
Carry out installation of Software and Hardware on Clients systems.
Troubleshoot the office LAN (crimping of cables etc).
Ensure that the workshop does not run out of equipment

The Person
The appointee must:



Possess OND in Computer Engineering.
Have logical approach to work.
Be self-reliant and must have ability to work independently .
Have active interest in maintaining personal technical skills and knowledge.
Must be physically fit.


4. Web Designer

The Job
Reporting to the Manager Web Services, The Web Designer will:



Be responsible for performing Web design programming assignments.
Code and generate program test data.
Test and debug programs as well as document new and existing systems according to established standards.
Create animated graphics.
Conceptualize, develop, produce and maintain graphical and multimedia interactive interfaces for all web designs and development projects.
Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
The Person
The appointee must:



Possess a B.Sc in Computer Science or any of the allied disciplines, with at least 2 yrs post-qualification experience in similar organization.
Be knowledgeable in the use of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, PageMaker, Freehand, GIF Animator, CorelDraw, Macromedia Flash, Cold Fusion etc.
Possess programming skills in PERL, CGI, HTML ASP, _Java script, Java Applet, Servlet SQL and XML programming.
Have good creative and technical aptitude.
Be able to use logical approach to the solution of problems.
Be able to work well in a team.
Have good communication skills.
Be willing to continue to learn as technology changes


5. Client Services Manager

The Job
Reporting to the Executive Director Marketing, the Client Services Manager will:



Manage enquiries from Clients

Handle Client complaints appropriately and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Manage the Client Database and modifies when necessary

Ensure that the team of engineers and support officers service the Clients regularly

Disseminate information promptly to Clients when there is need. (e.g. upgrade, change in software)

Compensate Clients when there is need for it.


The Person
The appointee must:


Possess a degree in Computer science with 4 years experience

Have good communication and presentation skills

Have a high degree of tenacity and perseverance

Be able to understand clients' needs quickly

Be willing to update product knowledge on an ongoing basis

Have strong customer service skills

Have the ability to work effectively in a multi-task, high volume environment



6. Senior Client Services Officer

The Job
Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the Senior Client Services Officer will:



Play a key role in providing technical advice to Clients via Email, Phone and Fax.

Work with a team of system support officers and engineers to deliver customer support effectively
Compile daily summary reports on Clients' activities
Handle and manage problem escalations and ensure that cases are properly documented, tracked and followed up to closure
Reproduce problems in the workshop with a set up that resembles the environment in which the problem is seen and see to it that a solution is proffered.
Ensure that solutions provided by technical departments are promptly delivered to the clients
Contribute to the continuous development of the network by embracing new requirements and standards


The Person
The appointee must:



Possess a degree in Computer Science/Engineering with 2 years post NYSC experience.
Have basic understanding and/or demonstrated working knowledge of PC hardware and PC appliances/ operating systems - Windows, Linux OS and Cisco Routers LAN, WAN, C/C++, PERL and MySQL databases.
Have excellent communication & telephone skills, must be well organized and enthusiastic.
Be Willing to work flexible hours



7. Client Services Officer
The Job
Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the Client Services Officer will:



Play a key role in providing technical advice to Clients via Email, Phone and Fax.
Work with a team of system support officers and engineers to deliver customer support effectively

Be well organized, enthusiastic and willing to work flexible hours


8. Assistant Client Services Manager
The Job
Reporting to the Client Services Manager, the Assistant Client Services Manager will:



Handle Client issues appropriately and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Manage the Client Database and ensure it is up to date
Ensure that the team of engineers and support officers service Clients promptly.
Disseminate information promptly to Clients as the need arises.
Interact with colleagues in all activities, to ensure fast and accurate response to queries and problems.
Ensure effective operational support.
Contribute to the continuous development of the network to embrace new
requirements and standards



The Person
The riht candidate must:


Bossess a minimum of university or polytechnic (HND) degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related disciplines with at least 3-year post-NYSC experience.
Have a holistic view of the integrated nature and scope of the IT and Telecommunication business systems employed with the relevant business processes.
Be able to manage a team of system support officers and technical to deliver customer support effectively.
Be able to handle and manage problem escalations and ensure that cases are properly documented, tracked and followed up to closure.
Be able to ensure that solutions provided by technical departments are promptly delivered to the clients.
Be able to play a key role in providing technical advice to network installations and problem resolutions

9. Accounts Officer
The Job
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, the Accounts Officer will be responsible for:



Keeping records of company's imprest accounts

Preparing bank reconciliation records

Filling tellers and tellers records

Tracking bank transactions

Performing general clerical work

Maintaining Accounting ledgers and other office files

Auditing bank payment made by clients

Preparing and sending invoices to debtors

Any other task as may be assigned by the supervisor.


The Person
The appointee must have:


B.Sc./HND in Accounting/Accountancy and Finance.
At least One Year experience in a related job environment.
Professional Examinations will be an added advantage.
Must be computer literate, have aptitude for figures, well organized, enjoy teamwork, able to meet deadlines.
Good communication skills, aptitude for working with computers



10. Accounts Assistant

The Job
Reporting to the Accounts Manager, the Accounts Assistant will:


Assist the Accounts Officer in the discharge of his duties

Post and update clients accounts on the database

Collect and collate bank balances

Prepare Journals for various transactions

Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor


The Person
The appointee must


Possess OND in Accounting

Be computer literate and have aptitude for figures

Be dedicated and be well organized



11. Network Services Manager
The Job
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Network Services Manager will:


Oversee network designs and planning

Provide operational support and management of the networks involving the internet and private networks.

Draw up detailed network maps and documentation including charts and diagrams that indicate the various components involved

Prepare instructions for programmer implementation

Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies for the company's network

Conduct periodic backup of all the servers

Investigate, test, and recommend the purchase of a variety of equipment

Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Possess B.Sc/HND in Computer Engineering or related field

Possess at least 4 years experience in a similar organization

The Job

The Job
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Assistant Marketing Manager will:



Be responsible for planning and implementing marketing strategies for the company

Manage relationships with promotion agencies and media contacts

Create innovative marketing plans by means of direct mail; email marketing, Internet marketing, and space advertisements

Develop marketing partnerships with press, and publications to promote events through strategic marketing efforts; build coordinate printing and mailing of conference brochures; develop vendor relationships

Recommend (and execute) new business initiatives

Coordinate the activities of all areas of the company that are involved in delivering a product or service to a customer

Possess Bsc/HND in Marketing or related fields

Have at least 5 yrs experience

14. Marketing Assistant
The Job
Reporting to the Marketing Officer, the Marketing Assistant will assist the Marketing Officer to:
Maintain contacts with existing and potential clients

Monitor clients’ performance as it relates to their progress and problems.

Maintain target setting with sales force to ensure achievement of set targets.

Ensure effective and satisfactory servicing of orders generated from the marketing.

Monitor the competition in the Internet provision environment

The Person
The appointee must:
Possess OND in Marketing or related field

Be computer literate

Be dedicated and willing to work in a team



15. Training Officer

The Job
Reporting to the Training Manager, the Training Officer will:



Assist the Training manager in his duties

Visit Corporate Clients to know their training needs

Put together manuals for the training, developing curriculum & teaching materials

See to getting a suitable venue for trainings

Evaluate the effectiveness of training by analyzing course evaluations.

Organize for all training materials to be available (e.g. projectors)

Maintain the library of training materials such as: self-instructional materials, learner manuals, instructor guides, flip charts, presentation software files, overhead transparencies, video tapes, audio tapes, slides, evaluation materials, and follow-up materials.

Coordinates production of materials

Liaise with facilitators of the trainings

Any other task as may be assigned by the supervisor.


The Person
The appointee must:


Possess B.Sc/HND in Computer Science or related field

Possess at least 2 years experience in a similar organization

Be able to grasp complex concepts, logical and analytical approach to solving problems

Have good communication skills

Be able to work well in a team



16. Technician

The Job
Reporting to the Unit Head, the Technician will:



Assist with PC maintenance.

Install equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot.

Assist in power circuit design and layout, and arrangement of power stations and cabling systems

Assist the engineers in climbing mast to correct faults


The Person
The appointee must


Possess a Diploma in engineering or any other related courses.

Be interested in technical and engineering activities with diagnostic ability and good with hands

Have good communication skills

Be able to work as part of a team

Be physically fit.



17. Workshop Technician
The Job
Reporting to the Unit Head, the Workshop Engineer will:



Assist the Senior Technician

Do the day-to-day check of all office electrical appliances

Monitor the power supply in the office

Assist the engineers in climbing mast to correct faults


The Person
The appointee must


Possess School Certificate and Diploma in engineering or any other related courses.

Be interested in technical and engineering activities, diagnostic ability, good with hands.
Have good communication skills, able to work as part of a team, physically fit


18. Cafe Operator

The Job
Reporting to the Head, Engineering Unit the Cafe Operator will:



Assist the manager in running the café

Assist clients when they encounter problems with software and hardware

Manage the cyber café server, troubleshoot when necessary

Ensure the network is in good condition

Report on the day to day activity in the café

Collect money from Clients


The Person
The appointee must:


Possess a Secondary School Certificate

Be computer literate and presentable

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Have pleasant personality and be able to work under pressure in peak periods
