I'm aware that there's a thread on salaries in this section. But almost all d salary figures I see there are about Banks, oil and gas and other financial institutions.
We all know that the percentage of ppl that work in those sectors is small compared to others.

This thread is for salary info about other smaller sectors like manufacturing, government, education, media and other services. Some of these sectors also pay good salaries depending on the organisation.

We need to know what people like newscasters, teachers, civil servants, admin staff, and even vocational workers earn.
If you're in any of these fields, pls do well to inform us of the salary range in your company.
This is for the benefit of those who might be going for interviews and wud like to have an idea. I see many ppl creating threads to ask questions on salary.
This is how salary websites like Glassdoor, Payscale and Salary get their figures although they are mostly foreign oriented. We can have our own salary site here on NL.

As an Admin staff, the salary range is btw 50-150k depending on education and experience.

I'd like to know what all these newscasters earn, also people dat work in govt MDAs.

Well, Let me speak on two;

Teachers: It depends on the school, like schools that teach British and Nigerian curriculum you will earn say 70-100k with experience it could be more than that, however preference are given to B.ED plus Pdge at entry level. If it happens to be a "typical" Nigerian school with only Nigerian curriculum, on the Island, the pay is more say 80k(depending on the location) and on the Mainland depending on the location of the school, they pay is equally more, for instance schools in Magodo and schools in Oshodi would pay differently. And if it happens to be those "Ebute" kind of school 15k, 18k and 25k which is depend on a number of factors.

It should be noted that there some schools that pay more than the stated figures above, that is, if your are a certified educationists with IGSCE, a member of an educational body recognised by the Nigerian government and other international professional educational certification.
E.g. The School in Aso rock, Jesuit Layola in Abuja, Turkish International School, Bristish International School, There is a school is Maitama and Asokoro in Abuja can't remember their names.

Accountant: There is no two way about this, if you are qualified ( ACA or ACCA) 150k for a start plus other allowances but some exploit even the qualified Accountant and if you are not qualified with experience 60-80k with atleast 3yrs cognate experience
