As a good student of Nigerian politics, with the way Senator Saraki is"ruling the opposing senators out of order", we will soon have a factional Senate President.
I won't be surprised at all.

Tambuwal's election wasn't done in the manner Senator Saraki was elected by 57 out of 109

How will you operate that infamy? Bad losers. The only option left for APC is to impeach him if they can muster the numbers. Any other move is unethical, unconstitutional and will be declared null and void. It is not looking good for APC at the moment, especially with a snarling Saraki baying for a fight. .

I think it is all a huge distraction from the issue of the jumbo allowance. If only Senator Saraki had waited. Hon Dogara doesn't have this legitimacy problem.

How?. Senate presidency is by simple majority, must be done inside d Senate chambers by only senators, 1/3rd of senators (about 34 senators) forms quorum , d President PMB sent letter to d clerk to inaugurate d senate stating date n time 10:00am, d senators knew a week earlier of date, time n venue for d election, d Saraki camp complained about how d mock election was skewed to favour Lawan but nobody listened and so on n so forth. Am sure APC pain is not even Saraki but DAT Ekweremadu of PDP is deputy president but they brought it to themselves. Pls[center]

I just think there's an apparent immorality in the way politics is played in Nigeria. This Sen. Saraki's election is immoral and I think it offends my own personal value system. I expect him to be sober and penitent. It's so odious and it's already distracting Nigerians. He and his party APC owe Nigerians an apology.

A quorum was formed and that's all that is required to make it as legal as Tambuwal's election.

Gen Buhari should dissolve the Senate immediately and indefinitely as it is a burden on the nation. Representatives from each State houses of Assembly should instead represent each Senatorial districts on a National level.

yes.Yet this law didn't earn him the respect he is meant to command among 51 of his colleagues. If he had waited, he could still have won. What is the moral of having a Senate that is morally deficient. The Senate is populated by matured people not crafty, damn-all power desperate people. This is so disappointing

he doesn't have that power under the present constitution.

Morality & respect are subjective & moreover, he commands the respect of 'majority' 57 senators that elected him, so what else.

Walahi, I don't envy Saraki..... He's between the devil and the deep blue sea. It was the repercussion of treachery and greed. He has trade his peace for power.

He can't afford to tile so much to the left or to the right. He can't even dare to stay in the middle.

He is intelligent enough to know the long term implications on his 'credibility'

The implication have even started. Have you heard anything from the talkative Dino Melaye? He has suddenly gone quiet all because he's interested in contesting for the kogi 2015 governorship ticket under the same party he supported Saraki in rubbishing.

unfortunately Buhari does not have any constitutional power to do so. Tinubu and his crooks must accept Saraki and Dokara or else they should all jump in to lagoon and die. Kpele

They said they will no longer tolerate the defiance of the party by the two leaders.
A member of the NWC said: “We are expecting a stormy session on Tuesday. Saraki and Dogara will have to choose between loyalty to the party or self-serving agenda.

Re: We Are About To Have A Factional Senate President by Businessideas: 5:09pm On Jun 28, 2015
And when above statement is juxtaposed with;

When asked if Saraki had reached out to the President as he claimed, Adesina said, “The President has always maintained that the party is supreme. The party started a process which was truncated.

“The President has always maintained that those who truncated or aborted the process were the ones who precipitated crisis.

“The President had said in earlier statements that he would work with anybody who emerged the Senate President, but then, that did not include those who will subvert (the process).”

Things are definitely going to get messy and it's sadly going to be a sample of the same pill Sen. Saraki served his party unless he
1.gets down to getting Seen. Ekweremadu out or/and
2.Adopt his party's list of principal officer.

Apparently, Hon. Dogara has seen the handwriting and will likely retrace his step
