Creative Content Writers - Job spec
An Africa-focused social media start-up with an office at Allen Avenue, Ikeja, requires some Creative Content Writers. Writers may be experienced graduates, fresh graduates and graduates currently on NYSC scheme. The mission of the start-up is to be the leading web portal in Anglophone Africa. This is a full time role.

Responsibilities:
 Will assist in the overall growth of the web portal, and
 Will write and develop original contents for the web portal.

Candidate Requirements:
 Must be very keen on socio-political, economy and cultural events in Africa,
 Must have excellent communication skills: verbal, listening and writing,
 Must have excellent command of English Language and a wide reader,
 Must be imaginative, open minded and receptive to other peoples’ views,
 Must be a sociable person with strong networking skills - a strong social DNA,
 Must be a prolific writer,
 Must be an unbiased professional - without any political, social, religious agenda to promote,
 Must ensure compliance with media law and ethical guidelines, and
 Must have project management and basic IT skills.
