Senator Ali Ndume, Former PDP Member, Who was accused of sponsoring Boko Haram is now the Nigerian Senate Majority Leader!

#TheyHaveHijackedOurChange.

The Senate has confirmed Senator Ali Ndume, who has a special relationship with the Boko Haram terror sect as the Senate Majority Leader.

Ali Ndume was confirmed by the Senate President, Bukola Saraki today.

The Senator representing Borno South senatorial district had earlier been detained during the reign of the past administration in connection with links to islamic militant group Boko Haram – and was taken to court on terrorism charges.

Senator Ndume purchased 400 Golf cars to be distributed to his constituency as a form of empowering them. But It was later revealed that Boko Haram recruits and insurgents were offered the golf cars and the cars were later used to carry out suicide bombings.

The Personal Assistant of the Senator Iliya Adamu and six other persons were also rounded up and taken into custody by security operatives because of their membership of the Boko Haram terror group.

On November 21, 2011, Senator Ndume was hulled in for interrogation by the SSS after the convicted confessed Boko Haram spokesman Ali Umar Konduga, insisted that he, Senator Ndume was one of their sponsors.

Ali Umar Konduga was convicted and is currently serving a three-year jail term. Ali Umar Konduga was known by the alias “Usman Al-Zawahiri”.

Senator Ndume’s phone call history was central to establishing his relationship with the terror sect which is responsible for the deaths of over 10,000 Nigerians and the kidnap of the Chibok girls.

During Senator Ndume’s trial, the SSS told the court that the senator’s call log showed that he spoke with Mr. Konduga 73 times in October 2011

At the hearing of the case, Aliyu Usman, a forensic expert with the SSS, while giving evidence said the history of the communication contacts was contained in the two mobile telephones obtained from Senator Ndume and Ali Umar Konduga, who was Boko Haram spokesperson at that time.

Mr Usman said the communication between the two persons took place between October 3, 2011 and November 3, 2011, adding that they were in the form of text messages and voice calls.

The telephone lines used were those of MTN mobile network, and the details of the communication were obtained from the network, it was revealed.

Senator Ali Ndume was later set free due to “lack of evidence” by the court.

When he was campaigning, winning and adding to the number of APC senators, he was innocent until proven guilty. Now he is guilty until proven innocent.

Hypocrisy at its peak!

He was a former PDP member but he defected and joined the APC, was gladly given ticket by same APC and also sponsored to the senate.

And now he won and rightly made the senate leader, you just realised that he has a Boko Haram tag.

I doff my cap for you guys

If you think Saraki wields influence outside Kwara state then you dont know politics. There is a reason he desperately wanted to become the Senate president!
