This process started over a bleeping year ago. Media, radio, TV, text messages, adverts, etc were all awash with BVN, so what tha bleep were they waiting for? Make them suffer am well.

The worse they would do is ask you to fill the form before they would give u any attention. But closing an account? No way! Even if na one naira dey inside.

Yea, as a matter of facts go to all your banks and stockbrokers and give them the BVN number to update your records.

I doubt if anybody said accounts will be closed. What will happen is your account will be placed on No Debits.
Meaning you can't perform any withdrawal until you register for the BVN.

This bvn saga is really keeping every one on his/her toes and its crazy. Banks doesnt have the right to hold back your account, I wld rather close my a/c than this unnecessary rush. Truly this bvn of a tang wld be a continous process just like the telecomm sim registeration. We shldnt panic that our account wld be closed, for where.

It appears as if we are not yet mature for that. Internet fraud will not give it a smooth run. Am aware of people who have fallen victims of such even though it wasn't met Online, others still fall prey to cheap scam.

We Nigerians love working by deadline. I think that the banks should adopt a more friendly approach to this verification exercise just as the telcos did during the simreg exercise.

d policy has come 2 stay but i still don't c d advantages that will accrue customers. What CBN is parading as benefits of bvn seem so weak

banking industry is a regulated body by CBN, all directive comes frm CBN, so each machine to each branch, wat pple dnt understand is, u can do it at ANY BANK nd take ur BVN to ur bank, that's all
