All governors that can't pay salaries should be impeached.

I reliably learnt that Gov Rauf pays 13th month salary in Osun. As laudable as that may sound, it's a luxury and a waste of scarce resources that Osun can't afford. Gov Rauf shud discontinue it forthwith.
Osun has the 2nd largest civil service workforce (Lagos is the only state with a larger workforce than Osun in Nigeria). How big is the landmass of Osun, what's the population of Osun that we shud saddle ourselves with so large a workforce?
What concrete things has Gov Rauf done to multiply by several folds the IGR (Internally Generated Revenue) of Osun in his almost 5yrs in the saddle?
Nasir El-Rufai is a governor other governors should learn from quickly.

Except assassination, the judge has a secured job. It is fear of outcome of incident like this that put people into perpetual slavery. The woman judge is a mother and heroine of her time.

A progressive by mouth is totally different from progressive by action. Aregbe falls in the former.

very unfortunate

In the Nigeria of today, Nasir El-Rufai is the only visible progressive by action. All the rest nah wash!

Osun people asked for a change last year during the governorship election, and today, they have the change which they yearned for. So why the impeachment?

People of Osun, please enjoy your divided of change.

Has anyone noticed that since this debt issue no one (including Aregbesola and his media aids) uses the "STATE of OSUN" lullaby. It has naturally reverted itself to "Osun State"

NOTRIBE:
i cant imagine how a state cant pay workers for 11 months, but have been receiving allocation every month.. and still owing huge debt that it no longer credit worthy? How do these people survive with wives and children?..The governor still have the conscience to be parading himself, the honorable thing is to resign, because it shows he running a failed state..The legislators still get their pay, so that is why they will not impeach the governor

So if he resign , the Next Governor will now Pay Workers Salaries from his own Personal account ,So cutting off the Head is best cure for headache beside here is my Question if Aregbe is impeach because he was unable to pay Workers Salaries , What happened to every other states that are also Owning .
Re: Impeachment: Judge Ready To Testify Against Aregbesola, Says Speaker by aristosoft(m): 3:31pm On Jun 26, 2015
Now that some people have decided to incite the speaker into aiming the post of the governor because he couldn't pay.
The list of the state owing is all over the internet, why is Osun's state peculiar.

Not only Aregbe, all of them have done more than impeachable offences. I guess e don dey affect the lawmakers' returns, that's why they've decided to interfere.

Na God go save state workers from many of these heartless beings called Governors.

Laughin in naija! This judge has gottn nothin more to do. A judge that is accusin just like a common man wll also do without sightin any document to back up her accussasn of the man of ppl.

What re evn Aregbe's offencies that wll warrant his impeacmnt? Cos HE owes salaries? Shiiiiit
FED evn owes not to talk of otherstates of the federation that owe more what he owes.

I think Enemies of Osun state want to ruin this man just because of the fact that HE s bold enof to ve bn able to come out and say the truth about the status of the state financially. We hate the truth and that s why Fm mister Okonjo iweala kept on deceivin us until last moment of their tenure that we were well off then not untll the prblem started zoomin off itself .

I konw good ppl of Osun wll neva fogiv those salary earners of osun and NLC who ve always bn after the man downfall. Let me state it very clearly here now that we ve come to knw thatu ppl ve also always bn after ur self intrest.

This another trick bn emplyed to unseat him after u ppl met ur waterloo in the tribunal n Apeal court.

We re watchin..

If Nigeria were to be a decent society, the likes of Rauf Aregbesola, should be in jail by now. This was the same idiot, who sang a song insulting Former President GEJ at the 7th Colloquial Lecture of his benefactor, another man, who ought to have been jailed since(Tinubu Bola), where he called GEJ all manners of names, ranging from an armed robber to a kidnapper, & Tinubu's wife, stood up & was shamelessly dancing. Now this same governor has not paid workers in Osun state for months, it is even on records that some have died as a result of starvation & yet, his son was caught at the airport with hundreds of Millions of naira. Aregbesola, the soul of all those who died as a result of starvation, due to the fact that you refused to pay them, will turnaround to fight you, you will not end well, before your very eyes, your children & wives will die mysteriously. Ase gun.

Because he is not the only governor not to pay salary it is now normal for a man to work for three months and you ask him to go home and feed his family with water. Meanwhile your own children have the best of all.

Why won't politicians take us for fools when we reason like one.
