5 Major Steps Buhari Has Taken Since May 29th, 2015. by olumide1911: 8:29am On Jun 27, 2015 |
President Buhari was sworn in on May 29, 2015, and has since then been accused of being too slow in taking important decisions concerning his administration. Buhari has been especially criticized for his delay in appointing ministers, an action which many believe has prevented his administration from actually taking off. However, the President has taken some important steps since assuming office. 5 of them are: 1. Visiting Chad and Niger for talks on Boko Haram. 2. Attending and taking a place of honour at the G7 summit where he secured the help of the US and the UK for the fight against terrorism. 3. Relocating Military Command Centre to Maiduguri to intensify the fight against Boko Haram. 4. Ordering the removal of military checkpoints across the country. 5. Dissolving the board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC). http://naijasweetgist..com/2015/06/5-major-steps-buhari-has-taken-since.html
