[b]Super Falcons Coach Okon Replaced.

Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have replaced Edwin Okon with Christopher Danjuma as the new coach of the country’s women’s team, the Super Falcons.
Rivers Angels coach Okon led the team to the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Canada, where the team failed to progress beyond the first round despite the quality in the team.
Nigeria target Sweden coach for Falcons
According to head of NFF technical committee, Felix Anyansi-Agwu, Danjuma will be in charge of the team in interim capacity until a coach is appointed to fully take charge.
His immediate task will be next month’s 2016 Rio Olympics qualifier against Equatorial Guinea.
The Falcons welcome Equatorial Guinea to Port Harcourt on July 18.
Danjuma led Nasarawa Amazons to emerge 2013 Nigeria Women's League champions defeating Edwin Okon's Rivers Angels on penalties.
He assisted Edwin Okon in Falcons to win the African Women’s Championship in 2014 in Namibia.
He also coached Plateau United before he joined Nasarawa Amazons.[/b]
