Buhari has come out to lament on the State of the treasury ( even though this has been refuted as pure diversions since GEJ left $30bn ) and also on the National debt.

May we remind Buhari that last year he told us he had just over one million Naira in his account and that he had to take out a bank loan of 24 million naira to buy his APC presidential form.

That means Buhari borrowed 24 times what he had in his bank account! This must be the new meaning of Prudent investment in this era of "new normals"

But the real disturbing aspect - if we are to assume that Buhari was telling the truth for once about his state of finance - is how come after his long service in the Military rising to Maj. General, being appointed a governor of a state, minister of petroleum, forcefully imposing himself as head of state and being appointed PTF Chairman under ABacha how the hell did he end up in penury?
