Yes. Some rains ago in the mid eighties, he was born, probably by dusk. In a then remote Ogun of Nigeria. In an era life bloomed with originality. His mum definitely, was joyous as she watched the midnurse lift him- puss dripping and blood oozing. His dad was certainly gleaming with happiness. He was their son. And they were happy to get him.

"This child will bring glories to the family, Sun, nurture him well!" the voice of the family soothsayer ranged continuosly in his dad head. He was ready to do. And he did.

So the young Lanre grew up intelligent and wise. He might not be the best face you'll envisage but getting colleens to accede has never been a problem. He is the most brilliant being I'll ever meet, I knew when I met him. He has experienced contretemps of course. But sure, he overcame them.

Always there for someone who needs him (I'm not asking the ladies to make him their saviour, though). Always ready to guide. And ameliorate you. And incredibly humble for a chartered accountant.
He is making his family proud. And his lovely lady, pompous with ardour and aplomb. His dad would stare him in the face and smile, his head almost getting alighted due to pride, irregarding where he is now. His mom wouldn't be unlike his dad for anything. A diamond he is to me, too.

Believe me, Lanre is one of the best you ever might meet.
