The video attached is from an armed robbery incident that occurred at Woji Junction, Old Aba road yesterday. Apparently the victim and onlookers assumed he was been searched by “Plainclothes policemen”. While watching this video it occurred to me that this could actually happen several times over and you still can’t really be sure of the identity of the persons pulling you over. I am sure we have all seen gun-wielding plainclothes “Policemen” driving around in private vehicles and assumed they were on some sort of “assignment”. This video once more brings to fore the level of insecurity in our system and the need for personal safety. Feel free to share your thoughts on this and offer suggestions on what can/should be done in occasions like this.
