This desktop application called "Solver" was developed with JavaScript Programming Language. It does the following:
- calculates values
- converts Units (both imperial and metric for length, mass & volume)
- solves Arithmetic Expression
- solves Quadratic Equation
- solves Geometry problems (both plane and solid geometry)
- base conversion
- periodic table for reference purpose
- formulas for reference purpose (over 150 formulas).

It is nice sha. I use node webkit as well, but have not really done much with it - here are examples of what I have done with it:

Dont mind me o jare, you know i like trollin and causing trouble small small. But later on, I decided it was just better to use them C,VB.NET than to use Node Webkit - the overhead cost is just too gaddamn much.

Op, Congrats on building this. It does look quite good. Keep working hard and improving yourself.

I'm trying to get my head around it though. Still quite a newbie when it comes to these JavaScript technologies. Was it just NW.js and Node.js you used? How about layout, design and stuff?

.....having had d knowledge of Html 5/JavaScript u can proceed to get materials on node webkit. I got most of my informative materials from GitHub( https://github.com/rogerwang/node-webkit). when u get in there u will b able to read on what node webkit app runtime is all about and also download d runtime. In case u need nodejs u can visit nodejs.org, because node webkit is based on chromium and node.js runtime.

Yes. I used just nw.js & node.js 4 d development. For d UI (layout/design) I used HTML 5 & CSS with d menu bar module dat is already embedded in d nwjs runtime. JSON (javascript object notation) too is part of what one will write for d appearance of d window or alternatively u use d window module.
