Liverpool will desperately need to win this game to keep any hopes they think they have of winning the title alive.  After having lost to struggling Boro, they have been dropping points, in there last matches and have little or no chance of catching up with league leaders, scummies   They have dropped from first to second and now to third .Liverpool is shaky at the moment after having lost Torres to Injury and will also be without Alvaro Arbelo and Daniel Agger.

Sunderland will enter this match with a positive attitude after having won four matches in a row, strikers Djibril Cisse and Kenwyne Jones will most likely feature  in this encounter with the former playing against his former club.

This will be a very tight match, with Liverpool hoping to make a comeback to at least take second place again from the chavs.
